Masterclass at the Festival 2025

The Florence Korea Film Fest organizes a Masterclass program, a series of meetings with protagonists and authors of Korean cinema designed as a free chat that is not limited to a cinema lesson but that goes beyond by addressing themes with the guests and with the proposed genres. The Masterclasses are organized in collaboration with the University of Florence.

All Masterclasses will be streamed live on the Festival’s YouTube channel and on the MYmovies platform.

Accreditation for the Florence Korea Film Fest is reserved for press and media, film industry professionals, young people within 25 years, university students, and film culture associations and organizations.

Press Accreditation

Press/Media accreditation is reserved exclusively for professionals from written and online print, multimedia, radio, television, news agencies, press offices and photographers. Only professionals belonging to the said categories, can apply for this type of accreditation.

Accreditation Info

Accreditation allows access to the Festival’s screenings, within the limit of available seats, and in accordance with the procedures established by the Festival organization. Only one personal, non-transferable credit can be applied for a single type of activity. Only a limited number of accreditations will be available; submitting a request does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted. Requests for accreditation will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Florence Korea Film Fest will notify in writing (email) of the acceptance of the accreditation request.

The issuance of accreditation implies the accreditor’s acceptance of the Florence Korea Film Fest regulations; any violation will warrant the withdrawal of the accreditation card. Please note that requests for accreditation made only by an adult audience will be taken. Please also note that the issuance of the accreditation card still remains at the sole discretion of the Florence Korea Film Fest.

Registration

To proceed with the accreditation request, it is necessary to fill in the specific form, providing adequate and updated documentation certifying that you belong to one of the categories indicated.
Before proceeding with the request, we remind you that it will be necessary to enter the following information and documents relating to the applicant in the form:

  • Personal data (name, address, phone, e-mail) and passport-size photo (JPEG);
  • If applying for CULTURAL AND PROFESSIONAL accreditation: curriculum vitae (including, if applicable, the profile of the company for which you work) or letter on letterhead, signed by the head of the company, indicating the applicant’s role and activities.
  • In case of accreditation request SPECIAL CONVENTIONS: Affiliation card or letter on headed paper, signed by the head of the Cultural Associations, Institutes, Italian and Foreign Universities and other institutions affiliated with the Taegukgi – Toscana Korea Association, indicating the role and activities of the applicant.
  • In case of application for UNDER 25 accreditation: ID card.

Payment Methods

Credit must be paid online by debit or credit card. No other payment methods will be possible. Confirmation of credit will be made only after payment has been made.

Participation in masterclasses & events

Masterclasses and events are included in the cost of accreditations and subscriptions, but you must BOOK your place through the website or by writing an email to program.koreafilmfest@gmail.com; subject to availability.

Validity

Accreditation is valid for the entire duration of the Festival, and the badge must be worn visibly, and exhibited upon request by the staff in charge in all areas of the Festival. In case it is used by a person other than its holder, the credit will be confiscated and not returned.

Accreditation pickup

Accreditation can be picked up upon showing valid ID at the Accreditation Desk at La Compagnia Cinema. The address, dates and opening times will be announced in the accreditation confirmation letter. Accreditation can also be picked up by a third person with a proxy from the accredited person, photocopy of his or her ID and photocopy of the proxy’s ID.

Press Accreditation

This type of accreditation allows access to the Florence Korea Film Fest screenings, press conferences within the limit of available seats, and in accordance with the procedures established by the press office organization, and exclusively for TV and Web TV journalists, in compliance with the right to report according to a priority criterion established by the festival press office.

Press accreditation is reserved for newspapers and information operators belonging to the categories indicated below.
The request must be sent by email with the documentation specified for each category.
A maximum of 2 credits can be requested for each newspaper.

Written print

  • Official letter on letterhead signed by the editor or editor-in-chief of the paper from which the journalist is sent to cover the festival.
  • Copy or link of articles written for the previous edition of the festival or in case of a new request copy of a recent film/entertainment article signed by the journalist.

Online press, radio and television stations and photographers

  • Official letter on letterhead signed by the editor or editor-in-chief of the newspaper/issuer/agency from which the journalist is sent to cover the festival. The letter should specify the periodicity of web page renewal and the average number of daily links to the newspaper site;
  • Copy or link of articles written at the previous edition of the festival in case of a new request copy of a recent film/entertainment article signed by the journalist.

Accreditation is limited to specialized film/entertainment sites. Social networks are excluded from the evaluation.

Press offices

Press accreditation is issued only to the press offices of the films/events attending the festival.

  • Official letter signed by the head of the company indicating the films and sections for which the professional cooperation of the press officer is used.
