Commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility

The Florence Korea Film Fest promotes intercultural dialogue through cinema and recognizes its role in the dissemination of values related toenvironmental sustainability, social responsibility and active community participation.

In particular, the Florence Korea Film Fest is committed to:

• progressively reduce theenvironmental impact of the event through a responsible use of resources;
• encourage the digitization of communications and information materials, limiting the use of paper supports;
• promote separate waste collection and proper waste management in the Festival venues;
• encourage the use of sustainable means of transport by the public, guests and staff;
• to privilegecollaborations with suppliers, partners and operators who share the principles of sustainability, ethics and social responsibility;
• promote accessibility and inclusion, ensuring participation in the Festival’s activities to the widest possible number of people;
• develop initiatives to raise awareness of environmental and social issues through cinema, meetings with guests, educational activities and moments of discussion with the public;
• enhance the relationship with the territoryand the local community, promoting collaborations with institutions, schools, universities, cultural associations and social realities.
