NA HONG-JIN GUEST AT THE 23RD FLORENCE KOREA FILM FEST

Na Hong-Jin, the renowned South Korean director famous for his distinctive style in cinematic thrillers, is the second guest of the 23rd Florence Korea Film Fest!

Na Hong-Jin is considered one of the most innovative directors in modern South Korean cinema.

He won over audiences and critics alike with works such as The Chaser (2008), a thrilling thriller that redefined the genre; followed by YellowSea (2010), a raw and intense film, and above all with The Wailing (2016), a masterpiece that mixes horror and mystery with which he achieved worldwide success, consolidating his reputation as a master of suspense.

Retrospective and Masterclass

During the Florence Korea Film Fest we will have the opportunity to relive the most iconic moments of Na Hong-Jin’s career through the specialist screenings of her cinematographic works and you will be able to meet the director in an exclusive meeting where the director will talk about his way of working and the sources of inspiration for his films as well as discussing the future of Korean cinema in view of his upcoming film “Hope”.
