Kim Mi-jo graduated from Dankook University's Graduate School of Cinematic Content and debuted short films such as "Tongue" (2017) and "The Disgusting Family" (2019). In 2020, his debut feature film "Gull" (2020) was presented in competition in the Korean section of the Jeonju International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix.
