Cho Sung-woo In Concert
Cho Sung-woo is one of the finest and most recognizable composers in Korean film and television. Author of soundtracks capable of combining lyricism, tension and narrative elegance, he has signed unforgettable music for films such as “Christmas in August”, “April Snow”, “The Last Princess” and “The Duelist”, up to the most recent works such as “Forbidden Dream”, “A Normal Family” and “Dirty Money”. At the same time, his intense and deeply emotional style has also marked the world of dramas, including “Tomorrow”, “Maestra” and “Lost”. His musical writing is distinguished by a deep melodic sensitivity and by the refined use of the orchestra, capable of accompanying the image without ever overpowering it, but amplifying its most intimate emotions. His compositions tell stories of love, memory, conflict and hope, creating a lasting link between music and visual storytelling.
On March 28, 2026, at the Cinema La Compagnia in Florence, his music will come to life in concert thanks to the collaboration with the Florence Pops Orchestra: a sound journey that spans over twenty years of career, between great cinematic themes and melodies that have thrilled audiences all over the world. A unique opportunity to listen live to the musical voice of one of the masters of contemporary soundtrack, in a special meeting between cinema, orchestra and audience.
