Meeting with the director Choo Chang-min

“Cinematographic Visions”: At the Florence Korea Film Fest you will have the opportunity to participate in a meeting with the director Choo Chang-min, one of the most significant voices on the South Korean film scene. With a career characterized by a deep passion for storytelling and the ability to explore universal themes through the language of cinema, the director has been able to conquer audiences with his works, which range from historical drama to the epic nature of great stories. Among his most popular works, “Masquerade” (2012), and “Land of Happiness” (2024) stand out, films that have not only been successful with audiences, but have received international recognition for their cinematic quality and emotional strength of the stories told.

The programmer of the BIFF – Busan International Film Festival Jung Hansok and the Professor of Korean Studies of the University of Turin Giuseppina De Nicola will be present at the meeting.
