Gu-nam is a taxi driver in an autonomous Korean province in Northern China, living under the constant threat of mounting debt. His situation worsens as he has been abandoned by his wife, who fled to Korea. In an attempt to recover some money, he turns to gambling but consistently ends up losing. One day, he receives an offer to kill someone in Korea, which would allow him to pay off his debt entirely. Desperate, he accepts the job, but upon his arrival, he finds himself pursued by the police and falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. Realizing he has been framed, Gu-nam faces a complex situation as he is chased not only by the police but also by a mysterious hitman, making it increasingly difficult to extricate himself from this web of trouble.
