Nato Gwangju nel 1970. Dopo aver lavorato per film e spot pubblicitari richiama l’attenzione col suo debutto “The Sweet Sex And Love” (2003). Ha diretto numerosi film come “Same Bed, Different Dreams” (2005), “Cinderella” (2006) e “Sex, Lies and Videotape” (2012). Nel 2015 ha realizzato “Trap” un’opera che mixa erotismo e thriller.
