She graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Kyung Hee University and studied film directing at the Northern Film School in the UK and the Korea National University of Arts' School of Film, TV, and Multimedia. He gained experience in the field working on the production team of the drama "Lovers in Prague" (2005) and in the directing team of "Night and Day" (2008) by director Hong Sang-so. "A Girl With Closed Eyes" (2024) is her debut in the feature film industry.
