Biography

Born in 1981, after graduating from Sungkyukwan University, he graduated from the Hanyejong Film Institute. Jang worked as an assistant director on the film "Masquerade," before making his debut with the short film "12th Assistant Deacon," which won the award for Best Short Film at the 13th Mise en scene Short Film Festival, and Best Director at the 15th Jeonju International Film Festival. Based on the award-winning short film, he makes his first feature film "The Priests", a supernatural thriller, which was a big box office success.
