The official trailer of the 24th Florence Korea Film Fest

The official trailer of the 24th edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest is an artistic project born from the collaboration between Italy and Korea, which combines cinema, animation and webtoon. The idea of using Sandro Botticelli’s Venus as the protagonist of the trailer comes from a vision of the Director of the Festival, Riccardo Gelli, who wanted to transform the iconic symbol of Florence into a movie star.

The project was born from the collaboration between the Nemo Academy of Florence and Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA), involving six Korean webtoon artists: Nam Jung Hoon, Anna Bonita (Hwang ka-Eun), Park Sung wook, Kim Tae so, Kim Hye won, Oh so min. Animation and post-production are handled by the Nemo Academy, with the contribution of Federica Fabbri and Luca Chiarotti.

The trailer represents a creative bridge between Italy and Korea, and anticipates the spirit of cultural exchange that animates the Florence Korea Film Fest.
