Biografia
Shin Sang-ok è stato un prolifico produttore e regista sudcoreano con oltre 100 titoli da produttore e 70 da regista. I suoi film più noti sono stati realizzati negli anni '50 e '60, quando era conosciuto come il "Principe del cinema coreano". Ha ricevuto la Medaglia culturale della Corona d'oro, la massima onorificenza del Paese per un artista. È noto anche per essere stato rapito dal precedente leader nordcoreano, Kim Jong-il, allo scopo di produrre film acclamati dalla critica. Nato Shin Tae-seo, ha poi cambiato il suo nome in Shin Sang-ok quando ha iniziato a lavorare nell'industria cinematografica.
