Biography

Born in Daejeon in 1965, director and screenwriter Lee Yoon-ki made his debut with his first film "This Charming Girl" in 2004. In 2011 his "Come Rain, Come Shine" is in competition for the 61st Berlin Film Festival. In "A Man and A Woman" he renews his professional partnership with actress Jeon Do-yeon whom he had previously directed in "My Dear Enemy" (2008) with which he won the award for best director at the 45th edition of the BaekSang Arts Awards.
