MASTER OF NOTES: FROM PARASITE TO SQUID GAME

Jung Jae-il, born in 1982, acclaimed as an eclectic musician and multi-instrumentalist composer, has cultivated his passion for music since the age of three, taking piano lessons that laid the foundations of his talent. However, it wasn’t until the age of ten that his genuine love for music blossomed, when he embraced the guitar and later expanded his repertoire to include bass and drums as well.

He has played in several rock bands and composed wonderful soundtracks for internationally successful films. His best-known collaboration was with director Bong Joon-ho, for whom he composed the music for films such as “Parasite.” He has also worked as a producer of traditional Korean music and has gained numerous accolades for his music. His soundtrack for the Netflix series “Squid Game” achieved great international success.
