Cho is a director and set designer, an expressionist who draws attention with his brilliant sense of color. He is also known for his use of classical material in modern stories, and the use of modern props in classic stories with the aim of creating these peculiarities. He worked as a production designer on "Go Go 70" (2008), "The Accidental Gangster" (2008), "A Tale of Two Sisters" (2003), "Forbidden Quest" (2006), "Duelist" (2005), "Two Woman" (2010) and "Cafè Noir" (2010). After working as a production designer for other films, Cho changed course towards directing, working on the famous and controversial adaptation of the webcomic "26 Years".
