Cho Kyung-hun was a member of a comic book club, which led him to come into contact with the world of animation, which became his passion. He created an independent animation collective, Animal, with other students. Among them was director Goo Bong-hee, with whom Cho founded the production company Studio Animal in 2000. Their first flash animation film is titled "Revenge Impossible" and was put online in 2001. They also ventured into video games and webtoons, contributing greatly to the Korean MMO Maple Story. In 2020, Cho directed and edited the animated film "Beauty Water," adapted from an episode of Oh Seong-dae's webtoon series "Tales of the Unusual."
