Biography

Han Jaerim graduated in 1998 from the Seoul Institute of the Arts and debuted as a co-writer and first assistant director with "Natural City" (2003). With his first film (2005) he won numerous awards. "The Show Must Go On" (2006) with Song Kang-ho confirmed his success. "The Face Reader" (2013) amassed a whopping 9.1 million admissions at the box office. He directed "The King" (2016). His latest film, "Emergency Declaration" premiered at Cannes in 2021.
