Jeong Geun-seop began working in the film business as an assistant director on the 1998 film "Naked Being". Still as an assistant director, in 2000 he participated in the film "Taki of Terror" by director Heo Seung-jun and in the comedy "Hi, Dharma!" by director Park Chul-kwan. With "Montage" in 2013, he made his debut as both a director and a screenwriter.
