Graduated as Bang Youngsun in Film Directing at the Donghan Institute of Media and Arts, his first short film Cheap and good house was selected at the Guanajuato Film Festival.
In 2007 he worked as an assistant director for Beautiful Sunday, a dramatic thriller by Jin Kwang-gyo. Something (2014) is his fourth short film.
