Biography

Kang Woo-suk boasts a long filmography both as a director and as a producer. Since his debut film Sweet Brides (1988), he has directed several successful films including Mr. Mom, Two Cops, How to Top My Wife, Two Cops 2. He later dedicated himself to the foundation of the Cinema Service, helping to transform it into one of the most successful production and distribution companies in Korea. In 2002 he returned behind the camera with Public Enemy which received great praise from both critics and audiences. After Silmido (winner of the title of Best Picture at the Blue Dragon Awards) he made Another Public Enemy in 2004 and Public Enemy Returns four years later.
