Before shooting his first film, he worked as an assistant director in several successful television dramas. He made his debut in 2012 with the thriller "Traffickers" which earned him the award for best new director at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. His subsequent films "The Con Artists" (2014), "The Chase" (2017) and "Broker" (2018) were a good success with critics and audiences. "Metamorphosis" is his first foray into the horror genre.
