Born in 1970, in 1997 he co-wrote with Wang Kar-wai the screenplay for The Odd One Dies, directed by Patrick Yau and Jhonnie To. He made his directorial debut in 2003 with Into the mirror, a film from which the American film Reflections of Fear was based in 2008. This is followed by One shining day, the Fantastic Parasuicides collective together with Park Su-yeong and Cho Chang-ho, and Show me the money. He is one of the directors of the TV series Dasepo Naughty girls, in 2008.
