Biography

After attending the Seoul Institute of the Arts, Lee Hae-jun wrote "No Manners, Au Revoir, UFO" in collaboration with Lee Hae-yong, with whom he wrote and directed Like a Virgin (2006), a brilliant queer-themed coming-of-age story. Lee then achieved resounding success in 2009 with the creation of "Castaway on the Moon". Five years later he returned to directing with "My Dictator", written with Baek Cheol-hyeon, one of the screenwriters of The Host, by Bong Joon-ho.
