Biography

After working on the set of JSA: Joint Security Area (2000) and co-writing the screenplay for Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Park Chan-wook, Lee Jong-yong made his debut behind the camera in 2007 with the short film "A Day Out". In 2009, however, he made his debut in feature films, with the fifth episode of the series "Whispering Corridors, A Blood Pledge".
