Biography

Born in 1959 in Seoul, he is a producer and director of highly successful films; after his debut with "Kid Cop" (1993) he has often dedicated himself to the film adaptation of historical events such as "Once Upon a Time in a Battlefield" (2003), "King and the Clown" (2005), "Blades of Blood" (2010), "Battlefield Heroes" (2011). The 2015 edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest featured its "Radio Star" (2006) and "Sunny" (2008) while in 2016 "The Throne" was the closing film of the Festival.
