Born in 1975, he has long been assistant to master Hong Sang-so for films such as "Woman on the Beach" in 2006, or "HaHaHa" (2010), presented in competition at the ninth edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest. "Romance Joe" is his first directorial experience.
