Noh Do-yeon graduated from Seoul National University. He then left for the United States, where he studied directing in New York and Chicago. Back in Seoul, he worked as a freelance director for some commercials, while correcting feature film scripts; In 2010 he became assistant director of a television show. Noh has directed several short films including "Broken Pot" and the surreal "Human Form".
