Born in 1959, Oh Jeom-kyun graduated in Fine Arts in 1991 from Hongik University in Seoul. In 2003 he completed the course of cinema, television and multimedia at the KNUA (Korean National University of Arts). Oh then began his activity as a filmmaker in 2006, shooting the independent film "Throw the cross away", presented at the VII International Jeonju Film Festival. His second feature film, "Viva! Love" (2008), was very well received by Korean critics.
