Co-Screenwriter of "Green Fish" (1997), the first film directed by the great director Lee Chang-dong, Oh Seung-uk then wrote the melodrama (1998). For many years, he taught at the Korean Academy of Film Arts, training many young talents in the film industry. He returned behind the camera in 2015 with the thriller "The Shameless" starring Jeon Do-yeon.
