After obtaining an MFA in directing at Dongguk University, and dedicating himself to the creation of various short films, in 2011 Park Hong-min made his directorial debut of his first film "A Fish" presented in several festivals such as those of Rotterdam and Vancouver, attracting the attention of critics. His film "Alone", presented at the Busan International Film Festival, is inspired by some memories of his childhood.
