Born in 1966, he graduated in film and theater from Hanyang University. After working as an assistant director on many films, he directed "Masterpiece In My Life" (2000) followed by "Lee ́s Family" (2007). "My Dear Brother" (2015) won the Audience Award at the JPP Feature Film Pitching of the Jeonju Project Market of the 14th Jeonju International Film Festival.
