Biography

Gina Kim's five feature films have been screened at over 80 prestigious international film festivals and venues around the world. Never Forever was the first US/Korea co-production and was released in theatres in France, Korea and the US. Final Recipe has been widely distributed in over 3,000 screening theaters in China. Kim was a member of the jury at the 66^ annual edition of the Venice Film Festival, where her film Faces of Seoul (2009) was presented. She has also taught film theory and production and was the first Asian woman to teach at Harvard University's Department of Visual and Environmental Studies. He teaches Theater, Film and Television at UCLA School.
